People must be really bored in order to actually care about something like the color of a dress.
Internet memes fascinate me, not the subject of our ire, but the amount of emotion and care we can pour into such things. If you’ve been on the internet for a long time, it can be like a peek into the human subconscious and once seen, you can never really scrub that stuff off your eyeballs.
So Dressgate began with a woman posting a photo of her dress and friends disagreeing on the color. Of course in the world of girls, melodrama, and the internet, one does not disagree on anything, evah. It’s simply not done. People will “freak the efff out” over such things. Random strangers will come along and troll you, injecting their opinion into the matter. Vehemently. People’s psyches are at stake here. Others must project themselves and their own issues onto the discussion.
