This is paraphrased from a piece written by Jason Carlson and Ron Carlson, in which they ask, “What is so special, so unique about the bible that Christians believe it is literally the inspired word of God?”
They then proceed to explain that the bible contains 66 books written in a variety of genres, history, poetry, letters, prophecy. 66 books written by 40 different authors, shepherd, fishermen, doctors, kings, prophets, most who never even knew each other, These 66 books were written over a period of 1500 years, on three different continents, in 3 different languages.
As if this is not remarkable enough already, the books all share a common storyline, a common theme, a common message, that is repeated throughout and interconnected, one book to another.
